One day earning 257 CR. rupees
The Story of the 3rd Richest Person in the World
"If you buy things you don't need , you will soon sell things you need" this is what wizard of investor Warren Buffett said.
Despite of donating 3 lakh crore rupees, being the 3rd richest man in the world, at the age of 88 years old, Warren Buffett every day goes to his 50 years old office to work sitting on his 50 years old desk.
At the age of 11, the boy who entered into the stock market by buying 3 stocks of only Rs. 2600, in a partnership with his sister has now become the owner of 5.5 lakh crore rupees.
One of the interesting fact about Warren Buffett is that 90% of his wealth is earned by him after he turned 50 years old. At the age of 88 years old, he still follows the diet of a 6 years old kid.
The main two foods in his diet is coca cola and ice cream. When asked how he has managed to stay healthy with such a unhealthy diet, he said, "I checked the tables, and the lowest death rate is among 6-year-olds.
So I decided to eat like a 6-year-old." When you think of a billionaire, you typically think of mansions, vacation homes and expensive cars. That’s never been the case for Buffett. Buffett has lived in the same Omaha house since 1958 that he originally bought for $31,500.
The house is a simple five-bedroom house. Perhaps that’s why we’re all so fascinated by him and people are ready to pay millions to have lunch with him. In 2012 and 2016, people were so eager to sit down with Buffett they placed bids for more than $3.4 million.
The auction has raised more than $20 million in total. The whole amount of money raised went to the charity completely. On average, Buffett made 257 crore rupees a day in 2013, which was fueled by rising stock prices. When asked the key to his success, Buffett pointed to a stack of books and said, “Read 500 pages like this every day.
That’s how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest.” And we! We read 500 Facebook and WhatsApp status spending our 80% time. And then there is Warren Buffett, despite of being the third richest person in the world he doesn't have any computer on his desk and also at this era of smartphone he still uses the flip phone of Nokia.
These little differences are what make Warren Buffett the wizard of stock market and a normal person a normal person for his whole life.
